Mr. Sapkota holds an LLM in Human Rights and Gender Justice and a Master’s in Sociology. He has over 24 years of professional experience in legal service legislative drafting, training, federalism, decentralization, local governance, and public financial management (PFM), with extensive fieldwork. He has worked closely with Federal, provincial and local governments and possesses strong knowledge of legislative drafting, GESI, inclusive governance, and service delivery.
He has contributed to democratic governance, legal services, human rights, and community development through roles in various organizations, including UNDP’s RUPP, LGCDP, ESP, A2J project, NEST, and other I/NGOs. His expertise spans capacity development, strategic planning, advocacy, transparency, and public accountability. Mr. Sapkota is skilled in linking governance and inclusion across federal systems and development programs.
